Crock-Pot Turkey Chili (That Tastes Like the Real Deal)

Hi friends! It felt a little bit like fall this weekend. The sun was shining, but I noticed a slight chill in the air and more leaves on the ground than usual. Eek! Not sure if I’m ready. Are you?

With cooler weather to come, I wanted to share this macros-balanced turkey chili recipe. I often substitute ground chicken or turkey in recipes that call for ground beef, and this recipe is a great example of where it works.

You’ll need:

  • 2lbs ground turkey
  • 2 packets of chili seasoning
  • 1 can each black beans, chickpeas and kidney beans (juice and all)
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup diced grape tomatoes
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 16oz tomato juice
  • garnish with light sour cream, scallions & a few Triscuits

Another great thing about this meal: it’s super easy. And you know I’m all about easy food right now. #toddlermom

To make this, add all ingredients to the Crock-Pot and let sit for a few hours on high. Yep, that’s it!
