It’s winter, I’m pregnant, and we’re still in a pandemic. Needless to say, I’m all about comfort right now.
I wanted to share with you a few pregnancy essentials that have been getting me through these endless months of snow, Netflix, and social distancing.

One A Day Prenatal Vitamins
I’ve tried several prenatal vitamins and these One A Day softgels are definitely my favorite. They contain folic acid, DHA, and iron. I love that they’re easy to take and don’t have a gross fishy aftertaste.
Keep in mind that while the gummy varieties are appealing if you don’t like to swallow vitamins, they don’t contain any iron. I took gummies for a few months and ended up slightly anemic.
Jessica Simpson Faux Fur House Slippers
These slippers are basic and affordable, but also super warm and comfortable. They have over 24,000 reviews and a 4.6 overall rating on Amazon. I like how they come in a variety of colors, too.
The Body Shop Shea Butter
I was bummed to see the Body Shop had discontinued the cocoa butter that I loved. But the shea is a nice second choice. It’s lightweight, smells sweet, and may help prevent stretch marks. It’s also 20% off right now – no code required.
On a side note: I tried to use Palmer’s original cocoa butter and I broke out in angry hives. Has that happened to anyone else?
Bark Thins Almond Snacking Chocolate
If you haven’t tried Bark Thins, run to your nearest Target and pick up the family-size bag. Or, order the 12-pack case directly from the manufacturer. These chocolates are seriously so crunchy and satisfying.
Motherhood Maternity V-Neck Side Ruched Tee
Maternity tees are a pregnancy essential (and the Motherhood brand is almost always on sale). I got a few in different colors. They’re nice to wear after the baby is born, too, when regular clothes are still too tight.

Beautycounter Cosmetics
My last essential is a few clean beauty products from Beautycounter, like this satin blush.
I’ve been paying more attention to the products I’m using, and most of my usual stuff didn’t make the cut. I love Beautycounter because you can trust that their products aren’t filled with nasty chemicals or questionable pigments.
