After months of snow, it was finally feeling like spring yesterday in Pittsburgh. I had to celebrate, so I whipped up a quick tropical smoothie.
This smoothie combines tropical fruit (mangos, pineapples, strawberries) with a frozen banana, pineapple juice, coconut milk, ice, and protein powder to deliver a healthy afternoon snack that made me forget I live in Pennsylvania.

Here’s what’s in it:
▪️ 1 frozen banana to make it thick + creamy
▪️ 1/2 cup of ice
▪️ 1/2 cup pineapple juice
▪️ 1 cup coconut milk
▪️ 2 cups frozen tropical fruit
▪️ 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

I topped it off with a few fresh mango chunks and chia seeds. And don’t forget your glass straw! ♻️ Mine is from Simply Straws, a women-owned eco-friendly products company.
