Dairy-Free Snacks from Aldi – Summer 2021

If you’re on a low-dairy or no-dairy eating plan, today’s blog post is for you! There are many reasons to limit dairy products (food intolerances, personal choices) and Aldi has plenty of snack options to keep you covered.

I’ve written a lot about how much I love Aldi – between the low prices and high quality, it’s hard to commit to shopping anywhere else.

Below are a few dairy-free options I found on my recent trip to the store. Keep in mind this list isn’t vegan – there are some meat protein sources here.

▪️ Castle Wood Smoked Turkey Breast has just the right amount of smoky flavor. It comes packaged in 1lb containers

▪️ Simply Nature Organic Beef Jerky

▪️ Serenity Trail Mix – I prefer the “serenity mix” because it doesn’t have any chocolate pieces, making it better to mix with my oatmeal

Fruits & Veggies

Aldi has a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies, many of them organic. For summer snacking, I love cherries, peaches, and berries. Peppers and broccoli are great to dip in hummus.

▪️ Maxx Bars by Elevation – Aldi’s version of RXBar that comes in 3 flavors: blueberry, peanut butter, and chocolate sea salt

▪️ Gay Lea Coconut Whipped Cream – great for topping smoothies, tastes very tropical for the summer

▪️ Simply Nature Cashew Coconut Crisps – these are light and flaky crispy cookies. I like the vanilla flavor best

▪️ Specially Selected Belgian Dark Chocolate Chunks – find these over in the baking aisle. They’re great for adding to rice cakes or snacking right out of the bag – we won’t judge

▪️ Earth Grown Vegan Ice Cream – Aldi has a line of vegan ice creams packaged under their “Earth Grown” brand. They are made with coconut milk. The mocha fudge is my personal favorite

▪️ Fit & Active Lightly Salted Rice Cakes – I’m a rice cake fanatic, I have at least one a day with peanut butter. Aldi has 2 flavor options: caramel and lightly salted. I prefer the latter since it has less sugar

▪️ Simply Nature Sea Salt Popcorn

▪️ Simply Nature Organic Hummus – Aldi has a bunch of hummus options. I love the organic garlic and the olive tapenade (not organic but still delicious)
