When you’re trying to lose weight after you’ve gained, it can be frustrating to look in your closet and realize nothing fits. That’s how I’ve been feeling lately.
I was tired of squeezing into clothes that were too small. It took nine months to gain the baby weight and I expect it will take several months to lose it – and thats totally ok! I decided to buy some new things that fit properly and I feel so much more comfortable and confident.
Old Navy has a ton of figure-flattering clothes this season. I’m a huge fan of anything that gathers at the waist – it’s a great way to camouflage weight gain around the tummy. Another flattering style is a flowy high-neck cut, such as the Luxe Swing Tank.
One of my favorite purchases from this haul is the Waist-Defined Slub Knit T-Shirt Dress. I liked it so much I got it in two different prints.
Here are the deets:
Sleeveless Ruffled Embroidered Swing Blouse (runs large, size down)
Waist-Defined Slub-Knit T-Shirt Dress (super popular – according to the website, over 3,800 people have purchased this dress today!)
Waist-Defined Slub-Knit Cami Dress (3 colors, knee-length)
Sleeveless Textured Peplum-Hem Sweater (it really is sweater material, runs a little large)
Luxe High-Neck Swing Tank (comes in 5 colors)
Tie-Strap Waist-Defined Swing Cami (I got the dried herb color, runs a little large)
No matter where you are on your weight loss journey, you deserve to have clothes that fit properly. Always remember the clothes should fit YOU, not the other way around.
