In the Know: August 16th

It’s Monday again! These summer months are really flying by. I wish it would slow down just a little.

Alan and I made time this weekend for another running session. I improved my pace and went farther – an average of 12 minutes per mile for 3 miles! It’s not great, but I’m slowly getting there and I’m happy with my progress.

Here are 3 things you should know about this week!

Fidus Large Gallon Motivational Water Bottle with Time Marker

This cute water bottle was made famous back in May when Khloé Kardashian shared a photo of hers on Instagram stories. But don’t just take her word for it – it also gets rave reviews on Amazon from thousands of other people.

To celebrate 200 followers on Instagram (thank you everyone!) I will be giving away one of these bottles very soon. Keep an eye on my Instagram for details.

Selma Blair’s Documentary

I saw a preview for Selma’s new documentary this week and wow – it looks intense, heartbreaking, and humbling. It’s called Introducing Selma Blair and will be in theaters and streaming on Discovery+ this fall.

MS is a disease close to my heart: I watched my aunt struggle with it for years. It’s hard to see Selma in so much pain. So many of us have loved her since her Legally Blonde days. I wish her the best in her journey.

Fjällräven Kånken-A-Day Giveaway

Have you heard? Fjällräven is giving away a Kånken bag every day until August 22nd. To enter, head over to their website, choose the style and color you’d like, and enter your email address. There are a few other options for bonus entries, too, such as interacting with their account on social media, following them, and watching videos about their products.

I’ve had my eye on a Kånken for years and I hope this is the year I finally get one!
